Rental & Pricing
How does the Coway rental program work?
It's simple: you choose a Coway product, pick a rental commitment (3, 5, or 6 years), and pay a fixed monthly fee. That fee covers the machine, free professional installation, and regular filter replacement service by a Coway technician. There's a one-time down payment at signup (typically $100), and then you just pay monthly. Sandy can walk you through the exact pricing for any model β just give her a call.
What's included in the monthly rental fee?
Your monthly rental covers:
- The Coway machine itself
- Free professional installation
- Scheduled filter replacements by a Coway technician (you never buy filters separately)
- Routine maintenance and cleaning during filter service visits
You're essentially getting the machine plus an ongoing maintenance plan in one monthly payment.
Can I buy a machine outright instead of renting?
Yes. Every product we offer is available for one-time purchase. When you buy, you own the machine β but keep in mind that you'll need to purchase replacement filters separately and handle maintenance on your own. Most families prefer renting because of the included filter service, but Sandy can help you decide which option makes more sense for your situation.
What's the difference between the 3-year, 5-year, and 6-year plans?
Longer commitments come with lower monthly rates. For example, on the popular CHP-6330L countertop purifier, the 6-year plan is $42.99/mo compared to $51.99/mo on the 3-year plan. The service and features are identical β the only difference is price and commitment length.
Are there any current promotions?
Yes β we run monthly promotions that can include discounted rental rates, gift cards, and combo deals when you rent a water purifier and air purifier together. Promotions change monthly, so the best way to get current pricing is to call Sandy directly at (213) 239-3249.

What's the difference between countertop, standing, and under-sink purifiers?
Countertop: Sits on your kitchen counter. Most popular option β compact, easy to access, provides hot, cold, and/or room temperature water. Models like the CHP-6330L and CHPI-7520L (with ice).
Standing: Floor-standing units at waist height. Great for families and offices. Dispenses at a comfortable height without bending. Models like the CHP-5722L and CHPI-620L.
Under-sink: Installs under your kitchen sink, completely hidden from view. Water comes through a dedicated faucet on your countertop. Clean look, saves counter space. Models like the P-2211N and P-160AL.
Which model do you recommend for a family?
For most families, the CHP-6330L is our bestseller β it's a countertop unit with hot, cold, and room temperature water, plus four one-touch dispense sizes. If you want ice water too, the CHPI-7520L (new for 2026) is the upgrade. Call Sandy and she'll recommend the best fit based on your family size, kitchen layout, and budget.
Are Coway purifiers certified?
Yes. Coway water purifiers are independently tested and certified by NSF International under multiple standards:
- NSF/ANSI 42: Reduces chlorine, taste, odor, and particulates
- NSF/ANSI 58: Reverse osmosis β reduces TDS, chromium, cadmium, nitrates, and more
- NSF/ANSI 53: Reduces lead, cysts, VOCs, and other health-related contaminants
Filters are also WQA (Water Quality Association) certified. This means every filter stage has been independently verified β not just claimed by the manufacturer.
Do the purifiers use reverse osmosis (RO)?
Yes. Coway water purifiers use a multi-stage filtration process that includes a reverse osmosis membrane. RO is the gold standard for removing dissolved solids, heavy metals, microplastics, and other contaminants that basic carbon filters can't catch. The result is clean, great-tasting water that's up to 99% free of harmful contaminants.
Installation & Service
How does installation work?
After you sign up, a Coway technician will schedule a visit to install your machine β typically within the same week. Installation is free on rental plans. The technician handles everything: connecting to your water line, testing the system, and showing you how to use it. Most installations take about 30β45 minutes.
How often are filters replaced?
Filter replacement schedules vary by model, but typically a Coway technician visits every 4β6 months to replace filters, sanitize the system, and perform routine maintenance. This is all included in your rental β you don't need to order filters or do anything yourself.

What if something breaks or I need a repair?
If you're on a rental plan, contact Sandy and Coway will send a technician to diagnose and repair the issue. Repairs on rental units are typically covered. If you purchased outright, Coway offers a manufacturer warranty β Sandy can help you navigate the warranty process.

How is this different from buying on Amazon or Costco?
When you rent through an authorized dealer like us, you get the full Coway experience: professional installation, scheduled filter replacements by a trained technician, and ongoing maintenance β all included in your monthly fee. Machines purchased on Amazon or Costco don't come with Coway's professional service plan, and you'd need to buy and replace filters yourself. The rental model is designed to be hands-off: Coway takes care of everything so you can just enjoy clean water.
