Coway requires SSN verification as part of their national authorization process. This is a Coway corporate requirement, not something we control locally—it's the same across all Coway dealers in the US. We take your privacy seriously and only use this information for account verification.
Rentals come with a 3, 5, or 6-year contract. You can cancel within 3 days of installation with a full refund. After that, early cancellation incurs a 60% penalty on your remaining contract value. For example, if you have $500 left on your contract, the penalty would be $300. If you complete your full contract term, you can cancel without penalty. We recommend the 3-year contract as it provides the lowest commitment.

If your new residence is within Coway's service area, relocation is possible with fees. If you're moving outside our service area, rental contract cancellation penalties apply. You can also transfer your rental to another person from 6 months after contract start until 6 months before contract end. Call Sandy to discuss your specific situation.
Service frequency depends on your water quality and system type. Most rentals receive filter replacements and maintenance checks every 3–6 months. We'll contact you when your system needs service and arrange a convenient time.
